Position description

We are hiring for the Accounts Payable Specialist position at SKY Learning Center GopG. This work helps ensure approved bills are entered correctly and scheduled according to established payment terms.

Accounts Payable Specialist | Remote within the United States | Full-time | Associate-level

You will keep payable trackers current and resolve straightforward discrepancies with the appropriate contacts.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Flag payment or bank-detail changes that require independent verification.
  • Review vendor invoices for required information and mathematical accuracy.
  • Help prepare scheduled payments following established authorization rules.
  • Request missing vendor documentation through approved channels.
  • Organize payable documentation for routine financial reviews.
  • Identify aging invoices requiring appropriate follow-up.
  • Enter approved payables into the designated accounting system.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Familiarity with accounting software is beneficial.
  • Careful verification of supplier records and supporting documents.
  • Professional communication with suppliers and colleagues.
  • Good numerical accuracy and spreadsheet skills.
  • Ability to follow payment authorization procedures.

Annual base salary: $50,000–$52,000 USD.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and able to perform the role remotely from an approved U.S. location.
